I would argue that anxiety has become a way of life for many professionals and that it is normalised, or even glorified, dressed up as attention to detail, a strong work ethic or being ‘on it’ every step of the way.
It’s also exhausting, a key component in the journey to burnout and a crutch that far too many of us rely upon.
If you’re reading this page, you don’t need me to tell you all the reasons why anxiety is a bad thing (in fact that will probably only make it worse).
What I will share instead is action steps that you can take, and steps that I have taken, to stop being ruled by the anxiety-devil sitting on your shoulder.
That voice that tells you it’s not safe to stop.
The voice that tells you to keep going in order to be good enough.
The voice that speaks to you in a way you never would do a living soul.
In this hour long workshop I am going to be sharing some of my experiences with anxiety, together with practical tools to help you reduce the harmful affects of anxiety and feel more calm, better able to focus and less like you are on the skinny edge of control.
Practical tools for dealing with anxiety will take place on Thursday 18th June at 8pm. If you can’t join us live, then a recording will be made available within 48 hours of the initial workshop. You will also have the opportunity for 7 days unlimited follow up with me to get more help and support and make sure that this workshop’s content sticks for you.
What will we be covering?
